If I hesitate now, then I will likely hesitate for a long time only because I don't want to buy something that is unproven. The CR-10 S5 is one of the largest printers available from Creality. Regarding V2 of the mini, I hesitate because it is unproven unlike this current mini. Their discount was much less than the shipping cost. After much fighting, Monoprice gave me the discount on both the printers but still, I didn't want two printers. I would have to pay 46 dollars to ship it back. All the reviews say it s at least as good as the FabMini, has a slightly larger build area, and to me, it looks sturdier and just "cooler." If you'll truly put it to use, I see no reason not to grab it.Īnd yes- get it from Amazon. (We'll see about that now that my "first" machine is here) But I find myself using the v2 for 98% of my printing, simply because it's more versatile. It prints great, and it's whisper quiet and cute as a button. And then I found a fire sale type of deal on the MP v2 on Amazon in July and grabbed it. I had really wanted the FabMini as the one to tide me over, but it was terminally out of stock. But in the meantime, I ordered the MP v2 and the Fabrikator Mini about 2 weeks apart from one another. I ordered my first printer through a Kickstarter back in March. ![]()
